Edward Albert Heimberger (April 22, 1906 – May 26, 2005) was a popular Oscar and Emmy Award-nominated American stage, film, character actor, gardener, humanitarian activist, and World War II hero. In an acting career that spanned nearly seven decades, he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1954 for his performance in Roman Holiday and again in 1973 for The Heartbreak Kid. Among his other well-known roles are Bing Edwards in the Brother Rat films, Oliver Wendell Douglas in the popular 1960s television situation comedy Green Acres, and Frank MacBride on the 1970s crime drama Switch. He also had a recurring role as Carlton Travis on Falcon Crest, opposite Jane Wyman.

Aaron Spelling (April 22, 1923 – June 23, 2006) was an American film and television producer. As of 2007, Spelling holds the record for most prolific television producer, with 218 producer and executive producer credits. Spelling worked in some capacity on almost 200 productions beginning with the Zane Grey Theatre in 1956. His most recognizable contributions to television include Beverly Hills 90210 and its adult spin-off Melrose Place with Heather Locklear, Starsky and Hutch, Family, Hotel, The Rookies, Charlie's Angels, The Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Vega$, Hart to Hart, Dynasty, The Colbys, T.J. Hooker, Nightingales, Kindred: The Embraced, 7th Heaven, Charmed, Burke's Law, Honey West, The Mod Squad, and S.W.A.T.. His company also co-produced the David Lynch series Twin Peaks (although Spelling himself was not directly involved in its production). He also produced the NBC TV series Titans with Yasmine Bleeth in 2000 and Summerland in 2005. For all his golden touches, he also had a miss or two, most notable among them was The San Pedro Beach Bums in 1977. On June 18, 2006, Spelling suffered a severe stroke at his estate in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles, California. He died there five days later on June 23, 2006, from complications of the stroke, at the age of 83.

1926 Charlotte Rae 82 is an American actress and singer known for her portrayal of Edna Garrett in the sitcoms Diff'rent Strokes and The Facts of Life, in which she appeared from 1979 until 1986. She received a Best Actress Emmy Nomination in a comedy in 1982. She also appeared in two Facts of Life television movies, one in 1982, and the second one, a reunion film, in 2001.

1936 Glen Campbell 72 (born in Delight, Arkansas) is a Grammy Award, Dove Award winning, and two time nominated Golden Globe Award American country pop singer and guitarist and occasional actor. He is best known for a series of hits in the 1960s and 1970s, as well as for hosting a television variety show called The Glen Campbell Goodtime Hour on CBS television.

1937 John Joseph Nicholson 71, known as Jack Nicholson, is a three-time Academy Award-, seven-time Golden Globe-, three-time BAFTA- and Screen Actors Guild Award-winning American actor, internationally renowned for his often dark-themed portrayals of neurotic characters. He is perhaps best known for his roles in the films Chinatown, Easy Rider, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Shining, As Good as It Gets, Batman, A Few Good Men, and The Departed.

1950 Peter Kenneth Frampton 58 (born in Beckenham, Kent) is an English musician, best known today for his solo work in the mid-1970s and as one of the original members of the band Humble Pie. He is known for the album Frampton Comes Alive! which is one of the best selling live albums of all time.
